Outwood Trail and Park – A perfect place to blow off the cob-webs, Outwood Trail is a 4km walk that will take you along a former railway line between Prestwich and Radcliffe – ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The park is also a key location on the Irwell Sculpture Trail, where you can check out the Ulrich Ruckriem Sculpture.

Hurstwood reservoir – The Hurstwood Reservoir is a favourite for Radcliffe locals to walk their dogs, enjoy a Sunday morning walk, or just get out and enjoy the stunning views and scenery. It presents an 8.6km loop in total and takes an average of 2hrs and 30 minutes to complete. Dog-walkers are, however, advised to keep their dogs on a lead here due to the presence of livestock.

Stoneclough – The neighbouring village of Stoneclough is also home to some stunning scenic walks and beauty spots, with an abundance of hiking routes, nearby rivers and ancient sites – such as Winter Hill Tumulus and Noon Hill to explore!

The town centre is very much up-and-coming. Radcliffe has won a £20 million investment from the government’s Levelling Up Fund to regenerate the town centre with new facilities for local businesses and public services. The plans include the construction of a brand new ‘Radcliffe Hub’ that will be home to a new library, swimming pool, gym and fitness facilities.
